Harry Connolly Harry Connolly’s collection combines epic fantasy with darker supernatural and urban-fantasy storytelling. The Great Way trilogy takes place in a secondary fantasy world threatened by catastrophic forces, following characters caught in warfare, political upheaval, magic, and a struggle for survival. It represents the more epic and large-scale side of Connolly’s fiction, with an emphasis on dangerous journeys, collapsing societies, and characters forced to confront overwhelming threats. The Twenty Palaces books move into contemporary dark urban fantasy, revolving around dangerous supernatural entities, secretive organizations, and people attempting to contain magical threats that ordinary society does not understand. King Khan, part of the shared Spirit of the Century setting, shifts toward pulp-style fantasy adventure. Overall, the collection is characterized by supernatural danger, action, dark magic, monsters, and protagonists operating in worlds where extraordinary powers often come with severe consequences.

This series was discontinued due to issues with the two authors as well as the publishing house. You can't buy the first 4-5 books in the series in print, ebook, or audiobook. An old print copy for one of them can go for like $200 on ebay. So to find the entire audiobook series for such an insanely good price made me take the plunge and buy. I figured even if it didn't work, it was worth the attempt. But the CD came, had everything on it, and I've since converted it to listen to the Books app on my iPhone. Soooooo worth it.
Couldn't believe the great price for this series. CD came in good time, even during the holidays. The audio is slightly lower quality than expected, but once you get into the groove of listening you stop noticing.
arrive in a timely manner and works well
A rare and hard to find series of audiobooks. And a fantastic find in this case. The sound quality varies, but considering the source material, not too bad at all.
Prompt and efficient delivery (to UK).
Certainly good value for money.
