I bought this as a gift for my mother, since her eyes are going. We put it into our DVD player, it wouldn't read, and then any movie we tried playing afterwards didn't have sound! We have to replace the player, and then when we tried using it in a CD player, it refused to read the disc as well! I reached out to find out what happened, and have received NO replies in the past month. If you have money to throw away on buying new electronics, go ahead and buy this, because that's exactly what you'll be doing.
Could find these audiobooks nowhere else. Resorted to converting my old cassette tapes to digital but the quality wasn't great and I was missing a couple. They are abridged, but that's how they were when originally recorded. I couldn't be happier to have bought them.
I enjoy stories that a are departure from reality. Sometimes you need to remember that not everything you read or in this case listen to have to be serious.
I prefer series. This is a good one. It’s light entertainment with an engaging protagonist and an interesting supporting cast. I’ve only finished three of the books but so far and I look forward to the rest.
