Timothy Snyder is Housum Professor of History at Yale University and a permanent fellow at the Institute for Human Sciences. He received his doctorate from the University of Oxford in 1997, where he was a British Marshall Scholar. He has held fellowships in Paris, Vienna, and Warsaw, and an Academy Scholarship at Harvard. His most recent book is Black Earth: The Holocaust as History and Warning, published in September 2015 by Crown Books. This series was discontinued due to issues with the two authors as well as the publishing house. You can't buy the first 4-5 books in the series in print, ebook, or audiobook. An old print copy for one of them can go for like $200 on ebay. So to find the entire audiobook series for such an insanely good price made me take the plunge and buy. I figured even if it didn't work, it was worth the attempt. But the CD came, had everything on it, and I've since converted it to listen to the Books app on my iPhone. Soooooo worth it.
Couldn't believe the great price for this series. CD came in good time, even during the holidays. The audio is slightly lower quality than expected, but once you get into the groove of listening you stop noticing.
