    Product description

Douglas Reeman This collection by Douglas Reeman focuses heavily on naval warfare fiction, particularly set during the Second World War and its surrounding historical periods. The Blackwood Family series and Modern Naval Fiction Library explore the experiences of sailors, officers, and naval commanders as they navigate the dangers of sea combat, leadership challenges, and the psychological toll of war. These stories emphasize realism, duty, and sacrifice, often portraying the ocean as both a battlefield and an unforgiving force of nature. The standalone novels expand this scope by depicting a wide range of maritime and military scenarios, from submarine warfare and convoy missions to large-scale naval engagements. Across the entire collection, Reeman’s writing highlights courage under pressure, moral complexity in wartime decisions, and the camaraderie formed in extreme conditions. His work is known for its authenticity and detailed portrayal of naval life, appealing to readers who appreciate historical military fiction grounded in human experience.

If you like naval battles here you go.

Reeman has been a favorite of mine for a time mostly under the name Alexander Kent. It’s great to get the Reeman collection at such a great price and great quality. For me motion audiobooks has been a great find. Their customer support which I needed in the past is outstanding. Glad I found these folks,

I contacted Douglas Reeman personally via email and wrote to each other many times. He sent me two audiobooks as a gift, not long before he died. His collection in an audio format allows me to read my favourite books , often by listening, since I am very impaired of vision. knowledge and accuracy and his ability to make characters seem so lifelike.
I have read all his novels both as under his name and as Alexander Kent and marvelled at hisThe queality of the dvd.cd in the mp3 format , are very good. I await my next order with great ex[ectations and I am pleased with the service providedd ny Motion audiobooks.
