Lisa Scottoline Born in Philadelphia, Scottoline earned an undergraduate degree, as well as a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania and later became a litigator at a law firm in Philadelphia. After the birth of her daughter she left the law firm and started writing, as a way to earn money from home. Final Appeal received the 1995 Edgar Award for "Best Paperback Original Mystery," She has since written 14 bestselling novels, including Look Again and Don't Go, both which reached number two on the New York Times Best Seller List. Her novels have been translated into 25 languages. Since March 2007 Scottoline has been writing the "Chick Wit" column for The Philadelphia Inquirer. A collection of her columns was compiled in a book entitled Why My Third Husband Will Be A Dog: The Amazing Adventures of an Ordinary Woman and published on November 24, 2009.

This series was discontinued due to issues with the two authors as well as the publishing house. You can't buy the first 4-5 books in the series in print, ebook, or audiobook. An old print copy for one of them can go for like $200 on ebay. So to find the entire audiobook series for such an insanely good price made me take the plunge and buy. I figured even if it didn't work, it was worth the attempt. But the CD came, had everything on it, and I've since converted it to listen to the Books app on my iPhone. Soooooo worth it.
Couldn't believe the great price for this series. CD came in good time, even during the holidays. The audio is slightly lower quality than expected, but once you get into the groove of listening you stop noticing.
