Karen Rose (born Karen Rose Hafer in Baltimore, Maryland, United States) is an American romantic suspense novelist. Her book I'm Watching You won the 2005 RITA Award for best romantic suspense. She has also published Count to Ten and a trilogy Die for Me, Scream for Me, and Kill for Me. Karen lives in Florida with her husband and two children, one of whom is deaf. Rose frequently writes for an online blog-website called "The Goddess Blogs" with fellow writers. Besides writing, Rose enjoys karate, skiing and travelling. Rose was a chemical engineer and a teacher before taking up a full career in writing. She currently holds two patents in chemical engineering for making Metamucil taste better. Rose enjoys Sci-Fi tv, her favourite show being Stargate. She has survived a crash landing on a small commuter jet. Roses' books are related to one another. While each book can stand alone, many of the characters in earlier books are featured in later books.

This series was discontinued due to issues with the two authors as well as the publishing house. You can't buy the first 4-5 books in the series in print, ebook, or audiobook. An old print copy for one of them can go for like $200 on ebay. So to find the entire audiobook series for such an insanely good price made me take the plunge and buy. I figured even if it didn't work, it was worth the attempt. But the CD came, had everything on it, and I've since converted it to listen to the Books app on my iPhone. Soooooo worth it.
Couldn't believe the great price for this series. CD came in good time, even during the holidays. The audio is slightly lower quality than expected, but once you get into the groove of listening you stop noticing.

A rare and hard to find series of audiobooks. And a fantastic find in this case. The sound quality varies, but considering the source material, not too bad at all.
